Mango Slide Smoothie

Some of my fondest memories growing up in Hawaii are of gathering and devouring fresh
tropical fruits on the beach pre and post surfs. Mango, banana, and coconut are my favs,
combining them with fresh lime and crunchy macadamia nuts is nutritious and so delicious or
as we say in Hawaii Ono’licious! As well as giving you a super energy boost the ingredients for
my Mango Slide smoothie are grown locally here in Byron Bay area and can be bought direct
from farmers when in season.

Mango Slide Smoothie

Ingredients
1 large ripe mango
4 frozen ripe bananas
1⁄2 cup coconut shreds
1⁄2 cup cold water or fresh coconut water
1 fresh lime
1 tbls crushed macadamia nuts


Method
-add frozen bananas, mango, coconut shreds and water blend or blitz
-pour contents of blender into a cup or jar
-top with the mac nuts and fresh lime
-self serve and get back out in the ocean
